Having graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Don obtained his California Life Time Teaching Credential and then went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Science Education from Cal State Northridge. After teaching High School for nine years, Don obtained his Real Estate License and has been involved in the Real Estate Profession full time since 1981. In 1984 he obtained his Broker’s License and is currently the Broker/Owner of Academe GMAC Real Estate. Still, Don makes use of his training in education by teaching Real Estate courses at Cuesta Community College for the last 15 years. Don enjoys racquetball, snow skiing, working in his yard, reading and writing. Over the past several years Don has grown to appreciate Art and now has an extensive collection of original paintings and limited edition giclees. Don says "my collection includes such artists as Salvador Dali, Alberto Vargas, Wai Ming and Itzchak Tarkay. But my favorite is a portrait of Muhammed Ali by Rolling Stones band member Ron Woods. The scene depicted is from the 2nd championship bout with Sonny Liston."
